Peanut butter & Syrup, mix and spread.

I’m pretty sure everything in that picture is not part of my diet. Syrup? Too much sugar. Peanut butter? Too much hydrogenated oil. White bread? Too white. Sounds yummy, though. Though I’m more of a crunchy peanut butter guy.

I discovered this combination as a kid; no idea why it hasn’t caught on more than it has. It’s quite tasty on oatmeal, too.

The bottom sandwich has gluten free bread.

Haven’t had the Devil’s Peanut butter in years.

Neither have I, honestly. We’re eating Smart Balance chunky. 12g monounstaturated fat, a little more sugar and sodium than yours. Do you have to keep that in the fridge?

Always change it up a bit and try new ones. I’ve had no luck with any chunky variety. Starts out too runny, and by the bottom it’s like a rock.
Yes, fridge. You cupboard? What’s that like?

The Smart Balance contains cane syrup and a bled of palm and flaxseed oils. You can keep it on the shelf.

Interesting. I’ll have a look next time I’m needing.

It’s tasty. The oils add a bit of fat, but it’s not bad. They make a smooth version too.

Canada? This looks like Canada

Is this a Canadian thing??
My mom was making me these sandwiches for us kids in the early 80's in the Midwest. (StLouis, MO)

I just see maple syrup and assume Canada. Never seen this in the Midwest (born and raised in northern IL)

Heck yes! My favorite way to eat a toasted Eggo is spread with peanut butter and then doused with syrup.

My ex-girlfriend’s stepfather used to eat Karo syrup sandwiches. He’s dead now.

Well my wife doesn't care for this combo, so it's rare I get to make it. I wouldn't want this all the time either.
